Raun Makirere-Haerewa (Ngāti Porou) played a pivotal role in the Manaora Rangatahi Guidelines campaign during the Nourishing Hawke’s Bay project, empowering rangatahi to take ownership of their health and wellbeing through mātauranga Māori. Raun remains committed to promoting a balanced lifestyle for youth, continuing his work with Māori communities.
